Packo supply small size process milk processing equipment of commercial quality: milk separators, milk churns, mini pasteurisers and yoghurt makers.
Pasteurisation of food products is one of the possible heat treatments used to kill off the entire population of disease-producing bacteria and greatly reduce the total number of micro organisms. The Packo batch pasteuriser processes batch volumes of 150, 300, 500 & 1000 lt. For even smaller quantities Packo has 8 lt (pictured top) and 21lt bench top mini pasteurisers.
Milk separators (pictured right) standardise the fat content of milk to produce skim milk and cream. Further processing of the cream via milk churn (pictured bottom) produces butter or other speicialised milk products.
Pasteurised, homogenised milk can be processed into fermented milk products such as set or stired yoghurt. For larger quantities vertical atmospheric tanks are used, for smaller quantities controlled incubation containers can hold 140pots or 300pots. (pictured)
